Machine Operator in Dunstable

Newstaff Employment is currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Machine Operatorto join a busy manufacturing team in Dunstable. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for someone with previous machine operating experience who is comfortable working on a rotating shift pattern.

Location: Dunstable
Pay Rate: £13.70 per hour + accrued holiday pay
Shifts: Rotating – 2 weeks on days, 2 weeks on nights
Job Type: Long-term opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Operate machinery in a high-paced manufacturing environment
• Ensure the smooth running of the production line and report any faults
• Carry out quality checks and follow health & safety procedures
• Work closely with team members to meet daily production targets
• Follow the training provided on the specific machinery used on-site

Requirements

• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing or production setting is essential
• Willingness to work rotating shifts (2 weeks days / 2 weeks nights)
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with good communication skills
• Reliable, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
