Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced FLT Reach Truck Driver in Newport Pagnell to join the UK’s largest supplier to the independent kitchen specialist sector. Established in 1985, this well-respected company offers the very best in kitchen furniture, appliances, sinks, taps, and ancillary products. This is a great opportunity to work within a reputable, quality-driven business that values efficiency, teamwork, and attention to detail.
Location: Newport Pagnell
Salary: £12.98 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 6 am to 2 pm (week 1) & 2 pm to 10 pm (week 2), rotating shifts, 40 hours per week
Job Type: Ongoing / Temporary to Permanent opportunity
- Unload and load goods from suppliers and branch transfers
- Check quantities and condition of stock, recording details accurately
- Store products in the correct locations using a hand scanner
- Pick customer orders and prepare them for dispatch
- Carry out stocktaking duties as required
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe at all times
- Work efficiently and maintain a high level of accuracy
- Operate a pallet truck and a box knife when needed
- Collaborate effectively with the warehouse team
- Valid FLT Reach Licence (in-house or expired accepted)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable, hard-working, and a team player
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Able to lift, load, pick, and pack
- Experience using hand scanners
- Must have own transport to travel to Newport Pagnell
