Newstaff Recruitment is currently hiring Assembling Operatives to join a leading kitchen furniture manufacturer based in Newport Pagnell, Milton Keynes.
As an Assembling Operative, you’ll be responsible for assembling self-assembly kitchen units using a range of hand-held tools. You will work both independently and as part of a team to meet production targets and quality standards. There is heavy lifting involved, this role is not for the lighthearted
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Week 1: 6:00am – 2:00pm
- Week 2: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
(Rotating weekly – must be able to do both shifts)
Key Responsibilities:
- Use hand tools and follow assembly instructions
- Ensure accuracy and quality of all assembled items
- Work efficiently alone and as part of a team
- Some heavy lifting involved
- Must be able to work both shift patterns
- Own transport required (location not accessible by public transport)
- Must have own PPE (safety boots & hi-vis)
- Comfortable using hand tools
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Able to lift and move heavy items
- £12.98 per hour
