Newstaff Recruitment is currently hiring Assembling Operatives to join a leading kitchen furniture manufacturer based in Newport Pagnell, Milton Keynes.

As an Assembling Operative, you’ll be responsible for assembling self-assembly kitchen units using a range of hand-held tools. You will work both independently and as part of a team to meet production targets and quality standards. There is heavy lifting involved, this role is not for the lighthearted

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Week 1: 6:00am – 2:00pm
  • Week 2: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
    (Rotating weekly – must be able to do both shifts)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use hand tools and follow assembly instructions
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of all assembled items
  • Work efficiently alone and as part of a team
  • Some heavy lifting involved
  • Must be able to work both shift patterns
  • Own transport required (location not accessible by public transport)
  • Must have own PPE (safety boots & hi-vis)
  • Comfortable using hand tools
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Able to lift and move heavy items
