CK Group are recruiting for a Site Dispatch Chemist to join a Hazardous Waste Management company at their site based in the West Midlands on a full time, permanent basis for a salary of £26,000.

As a Site Dispatch Chemist, you will accept and inspect all incoming assignments of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste by following the relevant regulations and site procedures. The role will involve working 40 hours per week, 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday. Please note, this role will be based outdoors and indoors.

Location: The Site Dispatch Chemist will be based at the company's site near Walsall and is commutable from Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Stafford and Coventry.

Site Dispatch Chemist Role: As a Site Dispatch Chemist, the main purpose of your role will be:

  • Labelling and processing waste.
  • Completing waste safety checks.
  • Sampling of received waste for internal laboratory analysis.
  • Using SAP system to record waste acceptance.

As a Site Dispatch Chemist, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Degree or HNC Qualification in Chemistry or a similar related field - essential
  • Experience of working with Hazardous Waste - essential
  • Willingness to work hands-on, outdoors, in a hazardous chemical environment - essential
  • SAP experience - desirable
  • FLT Licence holder (Forklift) - desired

Entitlement to work in the UK is essential.
