Applications are sought for a Laboratory Operations Technician to provide technical support to ensure the BCI Research and Teaching laboratories and facilities are running smoothly to enable members to efficiently carry out their research projects.
You are a motivated, organised, and professional individual with a BSc or equivalent in a biological or related science. Essential requirements for this post include experience of working in a research laboratory, as well as the ability to carry out a range of operational tasks including equipment maintenance and support teaching activities. You will have the ability to communicate well, work within a team and maintain good laboratory records. Knowledge in the field of Tissue Culture and Molecular Biology techniques would be an advantage.
