Accelerate your career by joining a new type of digital agency servicing publicly quoted clients in the very best way possible. We’re seeking passionate WordPress developers to develop corporate websites and microsites for our clients. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team developing next generation messaging and corporate communication, at a digital agency that is proud to operate at the forefront of technology.

About the Company

We’re a digital services agency providing modern, responsive and polished websites, investor relations tools, share price and trade data feeds across multiple markets. We’re not constrained by legacy systems, bureaucratic processes or tired ways of thinking. We’ve harnessed decades of experience to create an agile business that has client relationships at its core.

You will work in an established but innovative organisation and get to be part of a fast-growing company which offers a challenge and a great opportunity to develop your skills. Our team has decades of experience across digital development, investor relations, corporate communications, multimedia and branding. We speak plainly and openly, and we’re not afraid to question a brief or explain our reasoning. We’re naturally open to new ideas and ways of working, and we invite feedback on everything we do.

By keeping creative thinking at the heart of our business and never settling for ‘good enough’, we’ve continued to lead the way in our field. If you share our forward-thinking ethos, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to grow here.

About the Role

As we continue to grow, we’re looking to add to the team with a passionate WordPress developer with experience in front- and back-end web development. Working with our designers and project management team, you will be responsible for the development of responsive corporate websites and microsites for our quoted company clients. You will also be involved in the ongoing support and maintenance process which means we particularly value core strengths in:

  • PHP
  • CSS3 / HTML5
  • Javascript / jQuery
  • MySQL / MariaDB
  • Experience with and ability to code your own WordPress themes and plugins
  • Strong visual design sensibility

Career Opportunities

Not just anyone can help us maintain our industry leadership. Our business is built on a detailed understanding of modern coding practices and a focus on user experience, clean code and cross browser compatibility - and will expect the same values from you. In return, you’ll be recognised for your work with a visible effect on the business and offered clear paths to progress.

You’ll have great opportunities to learn and expand your skill set, with the flexibility to develop using a range of popular Open Source technologies on our high-spec hardware. You will work with experienced and friendly people who are always happy to roll up their sleeves and help where required. They will help you to stay up to date with new trends and advancements in web development and will support you as you:

  • Plan and prototype new clients’ websites
  • Design the architecture of the components of websites and applications
  • Test sites and applications in different browsers and environments
  • Problem solve and fix bugs in existing projects
  • Run performance benchmarking tests
  • Review and contribute to a shared development framework
  • Research, incorporate and contribute to Open Source projects
  • Meet designers, developers and project staff for progress updates
  • Learn and test new technologies, frameworks and languages
  • Refactor and optimise existing code

You will also be able to expand your understanding of the financial markets and help us expand the services and products that we are able to offer, using your experience to input and develop our own website and public presence.

Our Offices

Come to work every day in a comfortable, creative, boutique office environment containing all the things you need to succeed.
