This is an exciting opportunity to join the New Road Surgery team as a Clinical Pharmacist. The Clinical Pharmacist will be an additional member of our clinical team, working with GPs and assisting them to provide high-quality, integrated patient care.

Main duties of the job:

  • Applications are welcome from qualified Clinical Pharmacists with one to two years experience of working in a GP practice. Exceptional candidates who are newly qualified will also be considered for this role.
  • The post holder will be an experienced pharmacist, who will act within their professional boundaries, supporting and working with the practices to ensure safe, effective and quality medicines management and quality care to patients.

Person Specification:

  • Qualifications:
    • Essential: The post holder will be an independent prescriber.
    • A full UK driving licence is required.
    • Desirable: CPPE.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
