We are currently seeking a reliable, motivated, and hardworking Stores and Warehouse Operative to join our team. This role involves working both independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of warehouse and stores operations while supporting overall business performance targets. This position is ideally suited to individuals who are organised, proactive, and able to work effectively within a fast-paced environment. A good level of physical fitness is important, as the role involves regular manual handling duties and movement throughout the warehouse and factory areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, checking, and processing incoming and outgoing goods and shipments
- Accurate data entry using the company's CiM50 software system (full training provided)
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders accurately and efficiently for customer and contract requirements
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles and deliveries
- Organising and maintaining warehouse stock and inventory levels, including participation in stock takes
- Carrying out quality control checks on outgoing products and orders
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with Health & Safety procedures
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient day-to-day operations
