Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation and continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
  • Maintain and control QMS documentation, policies, procedures and work instructions.
  • Plan, conduct and support internal and external quality audits.
  • Monitor audit findings and drive timely corrective actions.
  • Manage the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) process from investigation through to closure.
  • Analyse quality data to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Establish and monitor Quality KPIs, reporting performance to key stakeholders.
  • Implement risk management processes to identify and mitigate quality risks.
  • Manage controlled changes to the Quality Management System.
  • Support supplier quality management and monitor supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve business processes and quality performance.
  • Develop and deliver Quality Management System training across the organisation.
  • Act as the quality representative during customer, regulatory and certification audits.
  • Ensure accurate document control and quality record management.
  • Promote quality best practice and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Support customer feedback analysis to drive service and product improvements.
  • Maintain awareness of evolving industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance on quality processes and compliance activities.

Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Experience working within a Quality Management Systems environment.
  • Strong knowledge of internal auditing, CAPA and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience of risk management, quality documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of quality standards within a regulated manufacturing or engineering environment
