Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias Location: Westbury Rate: £25.99 per hour Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm (37.75 hours per week) Start Date: January 2027 We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical Bias to join a busy manufacturing environment in Westbury. The role will involve supporting production through breakdown response, electrical and mechanical fault finding, preventative maintenance, changeovers, equipment upgrades and continuous improvement. The successful engineer will be expected to work safely, manage their own priorities and contribute to maintaining high standards of food safety and production efficiency. Key requirements: * Electrical qualification – essential * Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience * Experience with preventative and reactive maintenance * Manufacturing, FMCG or automated production experience * Engineering apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, ONC/HNC/HND or equivalent experience * Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills * Experience using CMMS/maintenance systems * 18th Edition – preferred but not essential * Food manufacturing experience – advantageous The normal working pattern is Monday to Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm, with a 15-minute early start on Monday. From November onwards, there will be approximately 5 weeks of the year involving days and nights to support seasonal production requirements.
