New Resource Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established engineering and fabrication business based in Somerset, who are looking to recruit an experienced TIG Welder on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder to join a stable company offering long-term employment, overtime opportunities, and a supportive working environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for TIG welding and fabrication work, producing high-quality components and assemblies to specification. You will be working mainly with:
- Stainless Steel
- Aluminium
Key Requirements
To be considered, applicants must have:
- Proven TIG welding experience
- Strong experience welding stainless steel and aluminium (essential)
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- A reliable and hardworking attitude
Salary & Overtime
£31,200 - £33,200 per annum
Plenty of overtime available
Overtime rates:
- Weekdays after 40 hours: 1.25x
- Weekends: 1.5x
Working Hours
Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
Friday: 07:30 – 13:30
40 hours per week
