We are delighted to be working on behalf of a specialist manufacturer in their search for a Senior Marketing and Events Manager. Our client is seeking a creative and driven Marketing Executive to join their team and support a variety of marketing and events projects. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you'll help shape and deliver campaigns that raise brand awareness, connect with their audience, and support the growth of the business. This is a hands-on role where you'll have the chance to contribute ideas, take ownership of tasks, and really make an impact.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the event calendar across the UK and EMEA regions, while providing support for the wider global event schedule
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver a range of industry-specific events—primarily within the defence and emergency services sectors
- Create and implement targeted marketing campaigns (both online and offline) to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and commercial growth
- Collaborate with the wider team to organise and support professional photo and video shoots for use across campaigns and digital channels
- Keep up to date with the latest marketing trends and innovations, particularly in digital and social media
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across sales, product, and creative teams, ensuring all communications are consistent and on-brand
- Develop a range of marketing materials and branded merchandise to support campaign and event activity
- Support product launches by working with marketing and product teams to take new offerings to market effectively
- Build and maintain relationships with creative agencies and production partners to deliver high-quality visual content
- Oversee event budgets, ensuring costs are managed efficiently and within scope
- Provide additional support for exhibitions, day-to-day marketing tasks, and administrative duties as required
Ideal Candidate:
- A degree in Marketing, Events Management, Communications, or a related field
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in event marketing or a similar role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a sharp eye for detail
- Proven organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once
- A creative and solution-focused mindset, able to bring fresh ideas to the table
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to stay positive when faced with challenges
- Experience working across international teams, managing time zones and cultural differences effectively
- Familiarity with marketing or event work within the defence or public safety sectors
- Prior experience supporting initiatives for first responders or within similarly structured industries
