This externally‑focused role offers the chance to take ownership of a defined territory, drive new business, and build strong, long‑lasting customer relationships within the packaging sector. Key Responsibilities
- Drive New Business: Identify and pursue new opportunities within the stretch film, packaging tape, and polythene market.
- Build Client Relationships: Maintain and grow existing accounts through regular site visits, follow‑ups, and technical support.
- Technical Expertise: Conduct on‑site assessments to understand customer packaging operations and recommend optimal solutions.
- Present & Negotiate: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and pricing proposals; negotiate and close deals with key decision‑makers.
- Stay Ahead: Keep up‑to‑date with industry trends, competitor activity, and product innovations.
- Collaborate: Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery accuracy.
- Exceed Targets: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals and KPIs.
About You
- Proven success in B2B sales, ideally within packaging, stretch film, tape, or related sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge of stretch film types (machine, hand, pre‑stretch) and adhesive tape solutions.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self‑motivated, organized, and able to manage your time effectively.
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and willing to travel across the Midlands and South of England.
- Experience selling to logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or food & beverage sectors is a plus.
