The Role
This is a hands-on Quality Manager position where you will take ownership of site quality while remaining close to the shopfloor. You’ll play a key role in:
- Driving product quality and process improvement
- Reducing defects, scrap, and rework
- Supporting production teams with real-time quality issues
- Embedding a strong quality-first culture
This is not a purely desk-based or compliance role; we are looking for someone who is comfortable being visible on the shopfloor and actively involved in problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day quality control activities within a manufacturing environment
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions (8D, 5 Whys, etc.)
- Oversee non-conformance (NCR) processes, ensuring effective resolution
- Work closely with production, engineering, and operations teams to resolve issues quickly
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve efficiency
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (ISO 9001)
