Working Hours: Monday Friday, 8:30am 4:45pm We are excited to be working with a timeless and prestigious homewares brand who are recruiting a full time and permanent Head of Finance to oversee their capable and organised Accounts and Financial Controller team in the UK. Our client has a modern take on craftsmanship and design, and this is reflective in their location and modern offices. Job Purpose: This role will oversee the whole accounts function from entry level through to audit confirmation, alongside Financial Control. You will go through the monthly account analysis and upload it to the HFM System, creating easy to understand reports using the Tableau system to manage current reports. As part of the role, you will be overseeing annual and quarterly budget and cashflow, HR correspondence with solicitors and handle FX trades. We are looking for a candidate with excellent numeracy skills, previous experience in senior finance and accurate attention to detail. The successful candidate will report to the Group Head of Finance and will be required to occasionally travel throughout Europe as part of the role. It will therefore be a requirement that you hold an in-date passport. Duties and Responsibilities: Overseeing the whole account from entry level through to Audit Confirmation, alongside Financial Controller. Corporation Tax calculations, payments and compliance. Start to finish audit process. Support financial controllers for all financial matters. Reporting to Group Head of Finance for impromptu requests. Monthly account analysis. Formulating clear and precise reports. Annual and quarterly budgeting. Manging cashflow Corresponding with solicitors and the legal team Managing currencies, FX trades, compliance and reporting Maintaining digital records Desirable Attributes: Previous experience in a senior finance role Able to understand and navigate complex spreadsheets. Capability to use BC/NAV is required Familiarity with Tableau, Salesforce and Jet reports.
