The Role
As a Quality Controller, you'll play a key role in ensuring products meet the highest quality standards before reaching customers.
Your responsibilities will include
- Inspecting and measuring plastic moulded components.
- Using a range of measuring equipment including Vernier callipers, micrometers, shadowgraph projectors and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
- Producing quality documentation including First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR), Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIR) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation.
- Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining quality standards throughout production.
- Working closely with the production team to resolve quality issues.
About You
- Previous quality inspection or quality control experience within a manufacturing environment (injection moulding experience would be advantageous but is not essential).
- Experience using measuring equipment such as Vernier callipers and micrometers.
- Good attention to detail with a methodical approach to work.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Full training will be provided on specialist equipment, reporting systems and quality processes where required.
