About the Role
This is a newly created position reporting directly to the Business Development Manager – Landing Gear. The role will support the commercial and technical management of a growing landing gear portfolio across a range of commercial aircraft platforms. The successful candidate will use their technical expertise and industry knowledge to help maximise asset value and support commercial activities across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting technical and commercial queries relating to landing gear assets
- Working closely with sales and operational teams across the organisation
- Acting as a liaison point for technical enquiries from customers and internal stakeholders
- Assisting with projects focused on component traceability, tracking, and inventory management
- Supporting the continued development and organisation of landing gear records and documentation
Candidate Requirements
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong technical knowledge of aircraft landing gear systems.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Engineering background, either hands-on or within a technical support function
- Experience within an MRO or OEM environment
- Strong understanding of technical records and commercial aviation documentation
- Familiarity with concessions, contracts, and technical compliance documentation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Desirable
- Understanding of CAMO operations
- Relevant aviation or engineering qualification
- Approximately 5 years’ landing gear experience
- Experience using Quantum software
