Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join our expanding service team.

The Role

As a Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration equipment at customer sites throughout your designated region.

You will play a key role in ensuring our customers' equipment remains operational, minimising downtime and delivering exceptional service.

The successful candidate must hold a valid F-Gas qualification and possess proven experience working with hydrocarbon refrigerants.

Key Responsibilities

Service, maintain, diagnose, and repair commercial refrigeration equipment.

Install and commission new refrigeration equipment.

Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits.

Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults.

Work safely with both HFC and hydrocarbon refrigerants.

Complete service reports and documentation using company systems.

Ensure compliance with F-Gas regulations and health & safety requirements.

Maintain van stock levels and company equipment.

Provide excellent customer service and technical support.

Build strong working relationships with customers and internal teams.

Essential Requirements

F-Gas Category 1 Certification.

Proven experience as a Refrigeration Engineer within a commercial environment.

Demonstrable experience working with hydrocarbon refrigeration systems.

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Experience servicing commercial refrigeration equipment.

Full UK Driving Licence.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
