The Company Our client is a long-established environmental services business operating across Wiltshire and the South West.
With a modern fleet of HGVs supporting waste management, recycling, aggregates and specialist environmental services, they continue to invest heavily in their workshop, equipment and engineering team.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced LGV Technician to join their workshop in Devizes.
The Role As an LGV Technician, you ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a varied fleet of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring they remain safe, compliant and available for daily operations.
This is a hands-on role involving servicing, diagnostics, inspections and repairs, working within a well-equipped workshop alongside an experienced engineering team.
Responsibilities * Carry out routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance on the HGV fleet. * Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults. * Complete MOT preparation and ensure vehicles remain roadworthy and compliant. * Respond efficiently to breakdowns and minimise vehicle downtime. * Accurately complete job sheets and maintenance records. * Work safely and maintain high standards of workmanship at all times.
