New Resource Recruitment is recruiting an Internal Sales Representative to join our clients energetic Melksham-based team. Location: Melksham Office / Hybrid (4 days office, 1 day WFH)
Hours: Full-Time, 9:00am – 5:00pm
What You’ll Do:
- Customer Engagement & Growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand your portfolio.
- Open new accounts and drive sales across a diverse product/service offering.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and quote requests.
- Understand client needs and recommend solutions that deliver real value.
- Meet daily activity and quotation targets to ensure consistent sales momentum.
- Track progress and pipeline activity, identifying customers who haven’t yet engaged.
- Maximise revenue through cross-selling and upselling.
- Record all customer interactions and activity accurately in the CRM system.
- Keep customer information up-to-date, including contacts, pricing, and requirements.
- Stay informed about competitor activity and market trends.
- Share suggestions for process improvements to increase efficiency and sales effectiveness.
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver excellent service.
- Ensure clients receive exceptional support, helping to maintain and grow relationships.
- Follow company standards and procedures, including health & safety regulations.
- Assist the wider sales team with additional tasks as needed to support business goals.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Proven B2B sales experience
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid UK driver’s license and willingness to travel within your territory.
- Experience selling to businesses in logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or other sectors is beneficial.
