Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a role where your electrical expertise is valued, developed, and rewarded? This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading UK manufacturer with a reputation for quality and continuous improvement. The Role You will play a key part in keeping production running smoothly, using your electrical knowledge alongside mechanical skills to maintain and improve a variety of machinery on site. Day-to-day responsibilities include: * Diagnosing and repairing breakdowns across different production equipment * Carrying out preventative maintenance to maximise uptime * Working to high engineering and safety standards * Supporting ongoing improvement projects * Ensuring compliance with company safety procedures and operational practices * Working shifts (5 days and 4 nights, Mon–Fri) including 1 in 4 Saturdays What You’ll Need * At least 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing/production * Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills * Recognised engineering qualification (City & Guilds Level 2+, ONC/HNC or equivalent) * 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred) * Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics * Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics * Knowledge of safe systems of work (permits, RAMS) What’s On Offer * Salary of £49,950 + overtime * Quarterly performance bonus * Training and career development opportunities * Cycle to Work scheme & occupational health support * Free onsite parking * Long service awards * Annual social events This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in a supportive, forward-thinking manufacturing environment
