You’ll ensure materials, components, and finished products move efficiently through the business while maintaining accuracy and high standards. Key Responsibilities: * Receive, inspect, and book in deliveries of engineering components * Prepare and dispatch goods to customers or production lines * Check incoming/outgoing loads for damage or discrepancies * Organise and store items accurately in the warehouse * Handle stock using manual and mechanical methods, including forklift duties * Maintain accurate inventory records and input data into systems * Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment * Support work-in-progress movements between engineering work cells * Assist with swarf collection and recycling * Cover forklift shopfloor duties when required What We’re Looking For * Proven experience in goods in/out, warehousing, or stores (engineering experience preferred) * Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Basic IT skills (email, data entry, inventory systems) * Forklift experience/certification preferred or willingness to train * Physically fit for manual handling tasks * Full UK driving licence (over 25 for insurance purposes) * Excellent organisational and time management skills Working Hours * Mon–Thu: 08:00–17:00 (30-minute lunch) * Fri: 08:00–13:00 (early finish) * Total: 39 hours per week This vacancy is being advertised by New Resource Group.
