Children’s Senior Residential Care Workers - Full time permanent contract

Salary: Up to £37,365 per year (including sleep-ins)

Location: POSITIONS AVAILABLE IN SHROPSHIRE, POWYS, AND STAFFORDSHIRE

We’re seeking experienced Senior Residential Care Workers to take a leading role in our homes for children aged up to 18. If you’re experienced, qualified, and ready to guide and inspire both young people and staff—this is your opportunity. We will also provide all the training and qualifications you will need to pave the way for you to become one of our Home Managers.

About the Role

  • Be a role model to staff and young people
  • Provide direct support to children with complex emotional and behavioural needs
  • Lead shifts and ensure high standards of care are delivered
  • Oversee daily routines including meals, education, and personal development
  • Manage documentation, risk assessments, and behaviour plans
  • Supervise and support staff and participate in their development
  • Collaborate with external professionals (e.g., social workers, education providers)
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and safeguarding protocols

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare essential
  • Experience working in children’s residential care essential
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to lead and motivate
  • A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach
  • A full UK manual driving licence is required, access to your own vehicle preferred (we provide company cars for transporting the children in our care)
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and safeguarding best practices
