At New Reflexions, we’re looking for an experienced Registered Home Manager to manage a children’s residential home. The home is dual registered with Ofsted and AALA. The home is well established and provides excellent outcomes for the children who are well established in their routines. The home has excellent staff retention levels and has maintained Outstanding or good in all areas. Company Overview: The Cumbria region is thriving and expanding with a friendly established team in place. New Reflexions is a childcare organisation dedicated to offering care, education, and therapy services to young people who have encountered trauma, leading to emotional and behavioural challenges. Specifically, the New Reflexions Children’s Residential Service provides therapeutic placements, catering to individuals up to the ages of 18 years, for both short-term and long-term placements.
Role Overview: We are looking for a conscientious individual with relevant care qualifications, skills, and knowledge to provide effective leadership and management to the team. Successful candidates will be dedicated professionals with verified experience working as a Senior Residential Care Worker or a Deputy or Home Manager for children.
You Should Be Able To Demonstrate Or Possess:
- At least 1 year experience as a Senior RCW or Deputy and hold their NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management
- Experience in or an understanding of AALA
- Full UK manual driving Licence is essential, and access to your own transport
- Passion for working within the care sector and commitment to delivering high-quality care services and positive outcomes
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Flexible attitude necessary in this demanding environment
