What You’ll Do as a Residential Care Worker:

  • Build positive, supportive relationships with young people aged 7–18.
  • Assist with daily routines such as self-care, household tasks, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Participate in school life and lead educational and life skills activities.
  • Encourage development through structured activities, education support, and community engagement.
  • Promote independence and choice while ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
  • Work as part of a team to deliver care plans, track progress, and communicate with families and professionals.
  • Follow a shift pattern (with sleep-ins) plus part-time option (60, 90, or 120 hrs/month).

Essential Requirements:

  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
  • Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help.
  • A calm and reliable nature in challenging situations.
  • Willingness to complete (fully funded) QCF Level 3 training.
  • A true passion for supporting and inspiring children to thrive.
  • Right to work in the UK.

We do not use agency staff; therefore, we do require people to be flexible to cover shifts.
