What You’ll Do as a Residential Care Worker
- Build positive, supportive relationships with young people up to 18.
- Assist with daily routines such as self‑care, household tasks, and emotional wellbeing.
- Participating in school life and leading educational and life skills activities
- Encourage development through structured activities, education support, and community engagement.
- Promote independence and choice while ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
- Work as part of a team to deliver care plans, track progress, and communicate with families and professionals.
- Follow a shift pattern (with sleep‑ins)
- Part‑time options (60, 90, or 120 hrs/month) as well as full‑time options (Sleep‑ins required)
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help.
- A calm and reliable nature in challenging situations
- Willingness to complete (fully funded) QCF Level 3 training
- A true passion for supporting and inspiring children to thrive.
- Right to work in the UK
- We do not use agency staff; therefore, we do require people to be flexible to cover shifts.
