Children’s Senior Residential Care Workers - Full time permanent contract
Salary: Up to £37,682 per year (including sleep-ins)
Shift pattern: 2-on / 4-off (with sleep-ins)

About the Role
- As a Senior Residential Care Worker, you’ll play a central part in creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment while also supporting the Registered Manager in leadership responsibilities.
- Be a role model to staff and young people
- Provide direct support to children with complex emotional and behavioural needs
- Lead shifts and ensure high standards of care are delivered
- Oversee daily routines including meals, education, and personal development
- Manage documentation, risk assessments, and behaviour plans
- Supervise and support staff and participate in their development
- Collaborate with external professionals (e.g., social workers, education providers)
- Ensure compliance with regulations and safeguarding protocols
What We’re Looking For:
- Essential: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- Experience working in children’s residential care
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to lead and motivate
- A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach
- A full UK manual driving licence is required, access to your own vehicle preferred (we provide company cars for transporting the children in our care)
- A commitment to ongoing learning and safeguarding best practices
