Hours: Monday to Thursday, (45 hours per week)

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment. You will work closely with the operations team to ensure production runs efficiently and products are delivered to the highest standard.

Production Operative Responsibilities

  • Operate production machinery and equipment.
  • Prepare and load materials into machines.
  • Trim, stack, and assemble products to required specifications.
  • Ensure quality products are produced on time.
  • Support production team to meet component and order requirements.
  • Move materials or products independently or in pairs (7kg-32kg).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Production Operative Mandatory Responsibilities

  • Work safely in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
  • Follow risk assessments, work instructions, and training provided.
  • Do not undertake tasks without proper authorisation or training.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment.
  • Team player with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Good organisational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Basic PC skills.
  • Counterbalance forklift licence or crane operation experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Proactive and able to show initiative.

Reporting

You will report to the Shift Supervisor and work closely with other production staff to support all areas of the operation as required.
