Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment. You will work closely with the operations team to ensure production runs efficiently and products are delivered to the highest standard.
Production Operative Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery and equipment.
- Prepare and load materials into machines.
- Trim, stack, and assemble products to required specifications.
- Ensure quality products are produced on time.
- Support production team to meet component and order requirements.
- Move materials or products independently or in pairs (7kg-32kg).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Production Operative Mandatory Responsibilities
- Work safely in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Follow risk assessments, work instructions, and training provided.
- Do not undertake tasks without proper authorisation or training.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment.
- Team player with flexibility and adaptability.
- Good organisational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Basic PC skills.
- Counterbalance forklift licence or crane operation experience is desirable but not essential.
- Proactive and able to show initiative.
Reporting
You will report to the Shift Supervisor and work closely with other production staff to support all areas of the operation as required.
