Warehouse Operative with Reach FLT Licence
Location: Banbury
Pay Rate: From £12.71 per hour (pay rise after 12 weeks)
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Working Hours
- Initial Temporary Period: Monday to Friday: Day shifts (8am - 4:30pm) (early finish on Friday)
- Permanent Contract: Rotating day shifts between early and late start times
The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse and distribution team in Banbury. This is a hands-on role combining forklift truck duties with general warehouse responsibilities, suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Reach Forklift Truck safely
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving stock around the warehouse
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders
- Carrying out stock checks and inventory tasks
- Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and organised
- Assisting with general warehouse duties when required
Requirements
- Valid Reach FLT licence
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Good level of fitness and ability to carry out manual handling tasks
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
