Are you passionate about ensuring guest comfort and maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness? New Park Manor, part of the Luxury Family Hotels collection, is seeking a diligent and dedicated public area cleaner/room attendant. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
This will be a dual role covering public area cleaning and room attending to make a combined 16 hour position:
- 10 hours per week across 2 fixed shifts on Wednesdays and Saturdays - public area cleaning
- 6 hour shift - room attending - with opportunities for additional shifts throughout the week depending on business levels and operational needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel, including lounges, restrooms, and other communal spaces.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, polished, and free of debris.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors as needed to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Monitor and replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department and uphold health and safety regulations at all times.
To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who has:
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Charisma, an engaging personality with a passion for hospitality, providing great service to our guests.
- A keen eye for detail, working to tight timeframes and enjoy a physical job role.
- Ability to interact with all guests and ability to have fun and engage with our younger guests.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
