About Us: At New Park Manor, we pride ourselves on being more than just a luxury family hotel – we're a family-focused destination where cherished memories are made. We have a dedicated Creche – The Den, for the children of our guests staying at our hotel, where they have a complimentary Den session per day, for their child to explore and engage with the Den team.

Role Overview: As Den Supervisor you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the Den Manager with the day to day running of the Den and deputise in the Manager's absence. This is a permanent position, at 24 hours per week, with a competitive rate of pay per hour plus generous service charge. Flexibility will be key, as shifts will vary and will include some weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run 2 supervised childcare sessions per day: for babies from 3 months up to 8 year old children in your care, providing fun, stimulating, interactive and safe play and activities, tailored to children’s age and interests.
  • Help develop and deliver an exciting family activity programme: you will help design, prepare, organise and deliver a fun and creative activity programme for families.
  • Support the Den Manager to lead, train and inspire a team of childcare professionals who love being with children and can connect with parents, helping create a welcoming atmosphere, resolve any issues quickly and give confidence in the quality of our childcare.

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience working within a childcare setting, with experience working with babies to primary school age children.
  • Minimum of 2 years managerial experience in childcare or similar related setting.
  • Accredited childcare/playwork qualification Level 2 is essential.
  • Creativity and passion for childcare is essential.
  • Experience working with Ofsted is desirable but not essential.
  • Paediatric First aid qualification is desirable but not essential.
