About the Role

As a Bank Residential Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting children and young people in a therapeutic environment using our PACE approach (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Empathy). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a safe, warm, and nurturing environment
  • Supporting young people with daily routines, including cooking, personal care, and life skills
  • Managing and responding to challenging behaviours in a calm and professional manner
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies such as Social Services, the NHS, and the Police
  • Contributing to care planning, record-keeping, and risk assessments
  • Encouraging independence and personal development in young people
