Temporary HR Officer - Legal Department (£19 per hour)
Tolworth | Hybrid Working (3 days office / 2 days remote) Monday to Friday | Full-time | 3-Month Temporary Contract
We are delighted to be partnering with one of our long-standing international FMCG clients, renowned for their inclusive culture and people-first approach, in their search for a Temporary HR Officer to support their Legal Department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, forward-thinking head office environment where collaboration, innovation, and professional growth are genuinely valued. You will work closely with both the HR and Legal teams, ensuring seamless coordination across a range of HR activities and projects.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the first point of contact for HR queries within the Legal Department.
- Manage the full spectrum of HR administration - onboarding, contracts, and leaver processes.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and track follow-up actions.
- Maintain departmental compliance records, including risk catalogues and training registers.
- Support performance review cycles, training coordination, and policy updates.
- Ensure alignment with employment legislation and internal HR frameworks.
- Liaise with central HR and payroll teams to streamline operations.
- Provide project and administrative support to the Legal leadership team.
- Proven experience as an HR Officer, or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and employment law.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confident communicator who builds trust and positive relationships at all levels.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Experience in a corporate, legal, or head office environment would be highly regarded.
- Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience).
- Hybrid working pattern – typically three days in the office and two from home.
