Overview

Temporary Customer Service Representative - Birmingham • £13.50 per hour plus accrual of holiday pay • 4 months • Office based • Valid DBS required

Schedule

Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm or 10am - 6pm; Saturday 9am - 5pm (1/2 to be worked with a day off midweek)

Requirements

  • Valid DBS is required as part of the screening process. A copy of your certificate will need to be provided.
  • Immediate availability needed.
  • Personable with a can-do attitude; able to cope under pressure, be patient, professional and adaptable.
  • Experience in a customer service role engaging directly with the public in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day processing of visa applications & renewals, including greeting customers, supporting completion and checking of applications, obtaining biometric data and other documentation.
  • Follow an established and defined filing and administration process, guided by a computer-based system.
  • Engage with applicants to provide a positive service and handle customer complaints diplomatically and assertively.
