09.00-17.30 (M-F) Fully office-based. Our client, one of London's most prestigious private members' clubs, is seeking an Events Co-ordinator to support the day-to-day operations of a high-volume Events department. Acting as a key point of contact for both prospective and returning clients, the role is central to delivering a professional, friendly, and highly personalised events service. Reporting to the Events Manager, the Events Co-ordinator is responsible for managing event administration from initial enquiry through to confirmation. This includes handling bookings, preparing contracts, maintaining accurate internal documentation, and coordinating operational details across departments. With over 1,000 events delivered annually—inclusive of lunches, dinners, weddings, and fireside discussions—the role requires strong organisational skills, sound judgement, and accountability to ensure seamless delivery and an exceptional Member and Client experience. This role would suit candidates who have had previous experience in events, customer service or hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Support the Events Manager in the day-to-day running of the Events department
- Act as the first point of contact for event enquiries via telephone, email, and in person
- Manage event administration from enquiry to confirmation, including bookings, contracts, and internal records
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure event requirements are clearly communicated and operationally supported
- Assist with preparing quotations and conducting show rounds for prospective clients
- Support the coordination and on-site delivery of events, ensuring all operational details are in place
- Assist in the planning and delivery of the Club's annual calendar of internal events
- Attend and contribute to weekly event meetings
- Support bespoke projects and departmental initiatives as directed by the Events Manager
Please note, the role may also require occasional weekend work to cover events and time off in lieu may be given. Salary will be based on experience.
