My client, a growing AI firm, is looking for a Finance Co‑ordinator to join their dynamic and growing team. This role will drive excellence across every aspect of their financial processes.
Contract: 12 months. Pay: £200–250 per day. Hybrid: half days in office.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice management: prepare invoices for approval and dispatch.
- Cashflow control: track and chase outstanding invoices to payment, maintaining healthy cash flow visibility and proactive follow‑up.
- Accounts payable: review and process incoming invoices, ensuring timely payment and appropriate approvals from the Director of Operations or Senior Leadership Team.
- Financial liaison: act as the primary point of contact between bookkeepers, ensuring daily and weekly reconciliation and clear communication on all finance and expense matters.
- Financial reporting: support the company's accountants in preparing monthly reports, providing accurate data and insights to meet reporting deadlines.
- Payroll & compliance: assist in monthly payroll processing, pensions, tax and benefits, overseeing checks, approvals and compliance requirements.
- Ad hoc finance projects: provide additional financial support as needed, helping to refine systems, streamline processes and strengthen financial governance.
