We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Practice Director to join our friendly and supportive team at New Malden Vets. Working alongside two experienced Clinical Directors, you will play a key role in the day‑to‑day leadership and operational management of the practice, supporting a dedicated team of vets, nurses and clinical support staff to deliver exceptional patient and client care.

Located just a 10‑minute walk from the train station, New Malden Vets offers excellent transport links alongside a welcoming team culture and a varied, rewarding role within a well‑established practice.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As Practice Director, you will lead the non‑clinical operations of the practice, working closely with clinical leadership to ensure efficient day‑to‑day running, strong team performance, and an outstanding client experience. You’ll be responsible for operational delivery, people management, and compliance, while supporting the practice to achieve its performance, quality, and service objectives. This role plays a key part in creating a positive culture and enabling clinical teams to deliver excellent care.

Full time

40 hours per week, Mon‑Friday, No weekends or bank holidays.

  • Proven experience in a management role, ideally within healthcare, veterinary, or service‑led environments.
  • Strong people management skills, including performance management and team development.

  • Experience handling complaints, change, and complex situations with confidence.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
