THE ROLE As a People Advisor Entry Level (Holding) at New Look you will provide first line support to managers and colleagues on the full employee lifecycle (onboarding, contract changes, reward, payroll, employee relations and people policies). The People Advisor will ensure that advice and paperwork is provided in line with our policies and processes and that information is captured accurately in our people systems whilst ensuring a positive customer experience. Advice and Coaching • Provide 1st line coaching and support for all People related queries (reward, payroll, employee relations, onboarding and changes, general HR) • Provide excellent customer service in line with agreed standards and service levels • Provide support and advice to employees and line managers, explaining policies and procedures, our systems and compliance. Documentation • Issue all People documentation accurately in line with KPI’s and SLA’s • Own the end to end process for the full employee lifecycle from new starters to leaver processes and support the upskill our employees in relation to these processes • Maintain and keep our people systems up to date and ensure data is recorded accurately in line with all data protection and GDPR requirements. People Systems • Regularly run reports to ensure data accuracy and take appropriate action to maintain this across our People systems • Support the People Systems Manager with any testing ahead system upgrades or changes • to ensure that core functionality is not impacted by upgrades ABOUT YOU: • A high level of confidentiality • Knowledge of HR processes and systems • Resilient and able to work under pressure • Analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication skills, with ability to flex style depending on the customer. • Organised with strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines, and adaptable to changing priorities • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to ensure the achievement of goals and resolution of issues • Flexible approach • Attention to detail • Customer focussed
