The Role:
The Photographer is responsible for producing photography assets for the New Look product pages, ensuring that all images are consistent, delivered to the highest standard and follow the agreed brand guidelines.
The Photographer supports the Photography Manager in the daily running of the New Look Studio, ensuring all shoots run smoothly while producing imagery to the highest standard in line with the New Look brand voice.
They are responsible for reviewing product imagery to ensure that the images are always the best in class.
Working in a fast-paced, high-pressure ecommerce studio, this role supports the Photography Manager to ensure all photographers including freelancers deliver high-quality photography standards while maintaining deadlines and KPIs.

What you’ll be doing:
- Shoot all products across fashion (kids, men\’s, women\’s) and still life, following creative direction and product matrix
- Review daily shoot plans with the creative team and work with the Art Director on the look and feel
- Provide styling feedback during shoots
- Direct models to deliver the desired look
- Edit and select images using Capture One, ensuring timely processing
- Work with stylists and models to maximize image quality
- Set up lighting and backgrounds for various shoots
- Manage multiple shoot briefs, matching poses and lighting to trends
- Meet daily shoot targets and maintain high standards
- Perform quality control on images before retouching
- Ensure consistency in colour and style using Capture One
- Maintain proper file management and asset organization
- Prepare and check equipment daily
- Maintain studio equipment and props
- Review competitor photography for industry standards
- Oversee freelance photographers to ensure adherence to guidelines
- Coordinate hair, make-up, and styling standards during shoots
- Communicate challenges and feedback to the team
- Develop skills and improve workflows with freelancers
- Lead in producing industry-leading photography
- Collaborate with styling team on new ideas and projects
Who you are:
- Expertise in photography, retouching, and lighting techniques
- High proficiency in Photoshop & Capture One
- Graphic design skills preferred
- Experience training others in photography techniques
- Strong skills in MAC operating systems
- Experience in large creative studio environments
- Knowledge of current trends and lighting techniques
- Innovative, proactive, and forward-thinking
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
