THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our engaged design community to help us build intuitive & delightful customer experiences across all our digital products. This role is London based in our Central London office twice a week.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- You’ll champion customers, putting their pain points at the heart of everything we do.
- You’ll help lead on the New Look Design system – to ensure we’re able to move at speed, whilst maintaining a high level of consistency and quality in our digital products.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to be the subject matter expert on what good looks like for ecommerce UX design.
- Develop high-quality wireframes, interactive prototypes, and accessible UI designs that effectively communicate the intended user experience.
- Mentor more junior designers, providing regular empathetic feedback to help them be the best versions of themselves they can be.
- Help align our stakeholders through excellent communication and collaborative workshops (eg. Design Critiques, Design Sprints etc…).
- Invest in our Design Community by sharing what you’re working on – fostering collaboration and strengthening our design culture.
WHO YOU ARE
- An expert in product discovery, who can work together with Product Managers and Technical leads to discover how best to improve our products.
- Able to understand and discuss technical concepts and help prioritise user needs effectively.
- An advocate for design thinking and agile methodologies (such as Scrum and Kanban).
- Strong command of design tools such as Figma and leaning into generative AI tools such as Midjourney.
- Experience designing for content management systems and working closely with marketing teams would be helpful.
- Deep understanding of user-centred design principles, information architecture, and interaction design – with a good sense of aesthetics when building user interfaces.
- Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in challenging environments.
- You can simplify complex ideas and maximise business value while meeting customer needs.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence design decisions.
- An expert in the power of Slack to drive asynchronous communication and culture change.
- You create a positive team spirit, focus on team engagement and embody the New Look values.
- Experience in building Design Systems preferable.
