Own and optimise the Product Detail Page as a critical conversion lever, improving product discovery, confidence and add to bag rate as we migrate over to a Headless solution. Define and deliver a roadmap that improves conversion, reduces drop off and increases basket value, while laying the foundations for future optimisation across other areas of searching and browsing, including Product Listing Pages (PLPs).
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Define the long‑term vision for the PDP, aligned to conversion and brand
- Identify friction points across the PDP journey using qualitative and quantitative data
- Build and prioritise a roadmap focused on measurable impact
- Own key metrics such as PDP to Bag conversion, Returns reduction, AOV impact from cross‑sell and bundling, Page performance & load
- Build and lead a healthy & high performing team that is able to deliver at pace – including a strong relationship with your technical lead
- Work with engineering & architecture to ensure we’re taking the right approach to balance scalable technical solutions with speed to value and MVP approach
- Ensure fast learning cycles and clear experiment outcomes. Maintain a high quality bar across UX, performance and accessibility
- Communicate risk, impact and progress clearly to senior leaders
- Present at all levels of the business on our strategy & progress, from Digital teams to board‑level summaries
- Align commercial, brand and data stakeholders around clear trade‑offs and sequencing
- Translate data into clear hypotheses and prioritised roadmaps
- Deliver structured experimentation programmes to improve conversion

WHO YOU ARE
- Strong experience owning and optimising high traffic ecommerce journeys such as PDP or PLP
- Proven track record of driving measurable improvements in conversion, add to bag rate, AOV or revenue
- Deep understanding of ecommerce customer behaviour and friction points on product detail pages
- Experience in working through technical migration, or similar complex technical problem, and understanding how to maintain a product‑led approach to delivery
- Experience running structured experimentation programmes to improve conversion
- Ability to translate data into clear hypotheses and prioritised roadmaps
- Experience working in a cross‑functional squad with design and engineering, shipping at pace
- Strong commercial instinct with the ability to balance brand, performance and delivery constraints
- Desirable experience improving size and fit confidence, reviews, or content strategies that reduce returns
- Experience embedding personalisation or recommendations within PDP
- Exposure to PLP optimisation and listing page ranking logic
- Experience in fashion, apparel or visually led retail brands
- Familiarity with modern frontend architectures and performance optimisation
