The Role

To provide all round administrative support to the Jersey & Knitwear Quality Team.

What you’ll be doing

  • Fit/ Quality Support
  • Attend some weekly fit sessions and provide administrative support before, during and after
  • Process product comments and photographs after the fit session when manager advises
  • Complete production sample approval
  • Measure samples to the required standard/ specification
  • Understanding of a specification sheet and test reports
  • Provide administrative support of testing during the sealing cycle alongside assistant technologist
  • Issue quality/ fit/ testing enquiries both internally and externally
  • Resolve basic queries/ issues that arise both internally and externally
  • Returns Management
  • Check daily and weekly returns reports for potential quality issues and report any issues to the Technologist/ Buying/ Merchandising teams
  • Collate weekly returns data into a yearly spreadsheet
  • Basic understanding of data analysis to spot trends in returns
  • Request and process samples from the distribution centre/ stores/ etc
  • Compiling data analysis, issues and actions into reports and presenting to the team
  • Ongoing familiarity of the competition’s product range in relation to quality and fit
  • Understanding of customer profiles
  • Understanding of returns reporting functions.
  • Completing and reporting back on New Look store visits and competitor shops. Identifying basic problems and solutions from these visits.
  • Department Support
  • Receiving and sending post
  • Dealing with telephone / email queries
  • Proactively dealing with department queries both internally and externally
  • Issue wearer trials and collate data
