The People Compliance and Reporting Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that our People activities follow legislation and regulatory practice. This will involve analysing and measuring people data to ensure that all regulatory requirements are being satisfied by utilising existing tools as well as designing and creating tools and modelling. You will work closely with the People Systems Manager to analyse and measure the effectiveness of People Processes to develop sustainable process improvements. Following best practice this role will support us to drive return on investment for People activities and processes. You’ll work closely with People Subject Matter Experts, Finance colleagues, and the Workforce Management Team to provide recommendations, data analysis and process improvement.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Regulatory Data Reporting
- Supporting in the completion of audits
- Ensure NMW requirements are met
- Support regulatory reporting and returns (FEC, Gender Pay, ONS)
- Coordinate with People teams to address and resolve any compliance related issues
- Ensure business critical data for financial planning is accurate and produced in a timely way
- People System and Tools Maintenance
- Support in providing an accurate and up-to-date view of employee headcount and associated metrics, working with the relevant teams to get the best view of people movements, and with the People Systems and the People Support teams to accurately maintain people systems and tools.
- Maintain analytical dashboards and reporting.
- Ad hoc analysis by reporting from systems and maintaining and implementing other analytical tools across the people team.
- People data driven decisions
- Support with data and dashboards driven by People strategic aims plus under the water analytics to pinpoint trends affecting our business
- Regular board and KPI reporting
- Support with generating insights to enable the People Leadership Team and SME’s to design and implement business critical HR activities (e.g. workforce planning, critical skills, emerging roles and skills gaps)
- People Team Effectiveness
- Measure how we’re delivering against our objectives and the return on investment of these
- Generate insight on where further operational effectiveness could be realised
WHO YOU ARE:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills to both technical and non-technical colleagues
- Organised with strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines, and adaptable to changing priorities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross functional teams
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- A willingness to travel occasionally to attend internal and external meetings.
- Experience with HRIS/HCM systems
Desirable:
- Experience accessing and analysing data using SQL
- Experience of building tools and dashboards to be used by non-technical colleagues
- Experience using Dayforce HCM.
- Understanding of the full employee lifecycle.
