What you\’ll be doing
Optimise search and browse touchpoints to maximise product visibility, discoverability and conversion
Analyse performance data to identify opportunities and deliver measurable customer and commercial improvements
Produce regular reporting on onsite behaviour and trends, offering insights to guide optimisation and trading priorities
Maintain and refine category structures to ensure consistent product relevance across all devices
Lead product enrichment with a focus on accuracy and speed, protecting conversion and preventing lost sales
Partner with Trade, UX and IT to plan, test and deliver new digital features, campaigns and journeys
Collaborate with Ecommerce and Content teams to align visibility and messaging with user behaviour and intent
Proactively identify and resolve live‐site issues while maintaining high performance standards
Champion insight‐led experimentation to validate hypotheses and drive continuous improvement
Work with Marketing and SEO to align paid, organic and onsite discovery journeys
Conduct competitor and market benchmarking to identify trends and opportunities in navigation, design and functionality
Support and mentor assistants, providing guidance, workload management and development opportunities
Deputise for the Junior Optimisation Manager, supporting strategy, performance delivery and process enhancements
Maintain deep expertise in optimisation tools, systems and product categories to inform decisions and best practices
Create and share documentation to standardise optimisation, tagging and analytics practices across teams

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
2–3 years\’ experience in eCommerce optimisation or trading
Strong understanding of site merchandising, navigation and search optimisation
Skilled in digital analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Monetate, etc.)
Experience working with cross‐functional digital and trading teams
