The primary role of this job is to provide support to the Senior Casting Manager. The secondary role is to provide support to the studio team as required.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Optioning and confirming models for e‑commerce bookings
  • Checking in & welcoming models daily, ensuring they have everything they need while on the shoot
  • Confidently arranging & holding castings with models at our in‑house studios
  • Building and maintaining a strong ‘behind‑the‑scenes’ filing and organisational system for the casting team – including updating model family docs, seasonal casting docs, and booking calendars
  • Liaising daily with external model agents in a professional manner and building strong relationships
  • Working closely with our in‑house studio team to become a key, reliable team member
  • Taking ownership on certain casting areas, with guidance from the Senior Casting Manager
  • Working closely with the Senior Casting Manager on 9‑15 (teen) castings in particular – taking ownership of the process involved including licensing and regular check‑ins with the models/agents
  • Supporting Senior Managers by creating studio presentation decks
  • Ensuring all model rates are recorded and communicated correctly – accuracy and consistency in bookings is key
  • Stepping in to cover the Senior Casting Manager during annual leave
  • Calendar management for upcoming creative & campaign shoots
  • Reviewing other high‑street brands to see what models they are using and suggesting them for us where appropriate
  • Following models and brands on Instagram – always bringing ideas to the table for discussion
  • Providing general studio runner activities, sample receiving, supporting the styling team; steaming product, wardrobe maintenance and photography assistance as and when required

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational and administrative ability – accurate to a T, crossing every I
  • Mature, calm and self‑sufficient
  • Professional and responsible, representing the company to external suppliers
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Desire to learn more about model casting and booking
  • Happy to muck in as and when required
  • Always bringing innovative ideas to the table

Technical Knowledge & Experience

  • Passion for models
  • Creative experience in putting decks and presentations together
  • Numerical accuracy
  • Experience within casting or a studio environment desirable
