As a Maintenance Support Colleague, you’ll play a vital role in our engineering team—actively assisting with daily plant operations, tackling first fix tasks, and offering hands-on support to Plant Service whenever needed.

Responsibilities
- Work efficiently when carrying out routine & breakdown maintenance.
- Promote continuous improvement and change through own initiatives by raising the awareness of plant issues and improvements to the engineering team leader.
- Assist with an effective fault response service in line with business requirements, i.e. holiday cover, or increase in business requirements.
- Attend presentations and briefings given to the engineering team in an effective and timely manner.
- Ensure all reporting, recording, and administration requirements are achieved i.e. filling out daily reports.
- Ensure that you are trained for all identified activities that you carry out on a day-to-day basis, ensure this is on your report sheet and that you have signed documentation to support these areas.
- Ensure that you are continually walking the plant looking for potential issues; report these to the Team Leader or Engineers as they arise as well as putting this information onto your report.
- Follow all H&S guidelines that are in place such as Essow’s and where you feel necessary suggest amendments.
- All relevant legislation, most critical health & safety.
- New Look health and safety procedures.
- New Look employee handbook and administration procedures.
Qualifications
- Able to conform to current and new H&S legislation.
- Raising issues and carrying out minor repairs as designated through your documentation.
- Knowledge of plant maintenance & maintenance experience.
- Administrative and organisational skills.
