New Leaf Search has partnered with a specialist financial services organisation to recruit a Business Development Manager – Food & Agriculture.

In this key role, you’ll be responsible for driving growth through both new and existing vendor partnerships, with a particular focus on the agricultural machinery and food sectors—especially where sustainability is a core priority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and onboard new vendor partners in the food and agriculture sectors

  • Manage and grow strategic relationships with existing vendors

  • Help partners meet product sales goals with tailored finance solutions

  • Support simplification and efficiency initiatives

  • Achieve performance metrics across all assigned programs

  • Design and deliver finance offers and training to sales partners

  • Drive digital proposal activity and increase external platform use

  • Support strategic goals including sustainability and market innovation

  • Contribute to a collaborative, improvement-focused team culture

Candidate Profile:

  • 3+ years’ experience in asset finance, managing key accounts/programs

  • Strong commercial and contract negotiation skills

  • Proven sales and profitability achievement

  • Excellent communicator across all levels

  • Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical skills

  • Comfortable working remotely and travelling regularly

  • Familiar with regulated environments and compliance

  • We strongly favour applicants with relevant UK experience in Financial Services—particularly Asset Finance and Leasing.
