New Leaf Search has partnered with a leading European financial services group in its search for a Recoveries Account Manager on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract.
The role is focused on arrears collection within the 60–90 days aged debt category and we are seeking an experienced individual with strong technical knowledge across collections and recoveries in asset finance or automotive finance, able to deliver effective outcomes and support the business’s risk management strategy.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of arrears cases (60–90 days) across multiple sectors

Negotiate sustainable repayment plans following customer affordability assessments

Review contracts and terms & conditions to support recovery actions
-
Work closely with vendors, brokers, suppliers, and Asset Management to maximise recoveries

Identify and manage vulnerable customers appropriately
-
Support provision and write-off recommendations with Head of Collections
-
Prepare reports for senior management and contribute to process improvements

Mentor colleagues, support early arrears when required, and assist with ad-hoc projects
Person Profile
-
2–3 years’ experience in recoveries, arrears management, bad debt, insolvency, litigation, or asset recovery

Asset finance, leasing, or motor finance background essential

Strong knowledge of contracts and consumer credit

Skilled negotiator with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Organised, decisive, and confident working independently in a small team

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Alfa knowledge desirable
-
Able to prioritise, work to deadlines, and perform well under pressure
