New Leaf Search has partnered with an SME-focused financial services company in its search for a Business Development Manager, Vendor Sales South.
Salary £55,000 – £75,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits.
Location: UK, South Home Counties / Hampshire / South East England (Remote).
The Role
This is a senior vendor-focused business development role responsible for driving new business growth through OEMs, suppliers, retailers and introducers across targeted sectors. Working closely with the Head of Vendor Finance, you will develop and implement vendor programmes, build strategic partnerships and support the expansion of asset finance offerings across new markets and asset classes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow vendor partnerships to generate new business and achieve sales targets
- Design and implement vendor programmes aligned to profitability, yield and penetration objectives
- Structure and negotiate transactions, including complex and residual value-based deals
- Collaborate with Risk, Finance and Operations to ensure efficient deal execution
- Drive pipeline growth and maintain strong CRM discipline
- Identify new market opportunities, sectors and introducer relationships
- Represent the business at industry events and networking forums
- Support adoption of new technology and digital processes across vendor channels
- Contribute to vendor strategy and broader business growth initiatives
Candidate Profile
- Proven asset finance business development experience, ideally within vendor finance
- Strong track record of developing OEM/vendor relationships
- Commercially astute with strong deal structuring and negotiation capability
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including Risk and Operations
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a remote territory effectively
- Strong understanding of the UK asset finance and leasing market
We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly Asset Finance and Leasing. You will also require relevant IN-COUNTRY experience; without which, your application will NOT be considered.
