New Leaf Search has partnered with a global captive financial services provider in its search for an FP&A Manager. Excellent salary, bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Midlands (Office).
The Role
This is a senior contract role responsible for leading the business control and finance transformation agenda across the UK market. You will deliver forward-looking financial insight, lead planning and forecasting, and drive the transformation of the finance function through enhanced analytics, automation and technology—positioning Finance as a true value-add partner to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead short- and long-term planning cycles, providing insight on performance vs strategy
- Deliver high-quality financial analysis, forecasting and KPI-driven performance tracking
- Act as a strategic business partner to senior leadership and commercial teams
- Drive finance transformation through process improvement and automation (Power BI, Power Automate, AI)
- Lead projects from scoping through to delivery and post-implementation review
- Evaluate commercial risks and opportunities including credit quality and residual values
- Strengthen governance, internal controls and compliance frameworks
- Develop business intelligence capability and reporting aligned to market benchmarks
- Prepare Board-level reporting, presentations and strategic recommendations
- Lead and develop a high-performing business control and transformation team
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Finance or related field; CIMA or ACCA qualified (MBA desirable)
- Extensive experience within captive or commercial vehicle financial services
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial modelling, planning and business analysis
- Proven track record in transformation, change and project delivery
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capability
- High level of competence in data analytics and finance technology solutions
- Deep understanding of UK financial markets and regulatory environment
We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly Asset Finance and Leasing. You will also require relevant in-country experience; without which your application will not be considered.
